Kanaka for Mac 2.0 is priced according to the number of machines on which the Kanaka Plug-in or Kanaka Desktop Client is installed. Mounted storage can include a user's network home directory, as well as all group directories of which a user is a member, no matter where these directories are located on the network - including those storage resources hosted on Novell Open Enterprise Server (OES) running SUSE Linux. Kanaka, working through eDirectory, then automatically mounts all of a user's network storage.
The result is a solution that allows Mac users within Novell networks to authenticate to Novell eDirectory with a single password through either the traditional Kanaka Plug-in or a new Kanaka Desktop Client.
